Very true. I just got my LoveSexy 88 DVD the other day (along with "For those of U on Valium on DVD) and they both are fantastic. I can`t get enough of P from the 87-89 period. Has an official Lovesexy 88 DVD been released? I doubt it since you then say you also got the valium one. Nice. | |

Not including the early videos(I wanna be...,Dirty Mind)
I think his worst video is Alphabet St. He has some great videos:WDC,1999,Raspberry B,Kiss,U got the look,Batdance, Partyman,the D&P era,TGR,Musicology,BS. I wish U heaven is beautiful but I don't like his look in that one. WDC and Get Off come close at being a great video. Love4oneanother | |

"When Doves Cry" "Batdance" "7" "I Wish U Heaven" "Cream" but yeah,most of his videos aren't very distinctive or exciting.I don't think he really cared about videos as much as other artists did.I wonder how some of his less-than-successful singles would have fared if they had better videos? | |

Kiss BatDance I don't know how they rate as compared to other artists' videos (& to be honest, I don't care. I'm not wired to think that way) but those are my 3 top fave P* vidoes. My aswer may miss the mark a bit as to your question, but at least this gives you & all the other Prince fans & fams a llittle insight into the inner-workings of the Illustrator's way of thinking. So I would recoomend that all who read this post intrepret it in the context of academia. Doing this will help to diffuse the feeling of the absolute waste of time that usually follows whenever reading one of my posts-slash-threads.
