AdmiralAdama	I hated it when I first heard it...only cuz I was pissed at Prince cuz the Revolution was fired. Then the album came out. Released on Tuesday or Wednesday, I bought it on Saturday afternoon during my weekly trip to the mall. Got home and played the album over and over for two days. Kinda got over the Revolution thing...well, almost.

I first heard it on our local mellow station...they said this is the new
Prince song, debuting here first...I was excited, listened intently and
loved it from the jump...when it was over, the DJ said, "well, you won't be
hearing that on this station anymore" mad

Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

Well, I must have been a bit too young to remember. But I do remember what it was like to see the SOTT video for the first time. lol

MTV used to have these "alphabetical" theme days when they'd play one video per artist whose name would start with the letter of the day. I'd wait for hours for Prince's turn to come (mind you, we didn't get MTV at home so I was at my pal's house) and all I got was the SOTT video!
