I'm actually starting this in the first week of March. I've counted 53 official Prince discs so the only one with no new material on it "The Very Best of Prince" gets dumped. I have them all except Rave In2 which I hope to get by the time its up. In case there is any new music this year I'm limiting this to CD's I'm bringing in my car. Tried listening to Kamasutra today but had to skip the track with the sissors sound effects. Is this the worst Prince track ever?

Just realised One Man Jam is actually by 94 East
featuring Prince so I've scrapped that and put back in The Very Best of and Ultimate Disc 1 so everythings hunky dory and nothing needs to be dropped. Gotta go clean off For You for tomorrow.
last Question for anyone interested, where should The Black Album go, after SOTT or after COME?

You're waiting too long to listen to SOTT. You need to get yourself a time machine.

Cool idea

My only suggestion is that you make it truly chronological, so that you get the full effect of his evolution:

- ONE MAN JAM before FOR YOU
- CHOCOLATE INVASION/SLAUGHTERHOUSE inbetween RAVE and THE RAINBOW CHILDREN
- THE VAULT inbetween DIAMONDS & PEARLS and
- THE BLACK ALBUM inbetween SOTT and LOVESEXY
- Burn all the tracks from ULTIMATE, CRYSTAL BALL and THE HITS onto their closest album (ie. "The Dream Factory" after the PARADE album etc.)

Should be fun

One Man Jam is sort of out of place where it is and it's really a rehash of a number of similar compilations, the first having been released around the time of Parade. So I think because Prince had no direct influence on this one and because it's all stuff recorded before For You that thats where I'll place it.
The Black Album had more relevance after SOTT, thats when we all got our bootleg and I didn't realise it had been officially released until much later having never seen it in any shops so that gets moved too. Burning cd's is too much work and it just wouldn't work. Theres no guarantee that I'd end up with 52 again.And speaking of 52 I wanted 52 albums with at least 1 new track on each. Ultimate Disc I dosen't fit this criteria so I have a ready made replacement in the almost released "The Undertaker". After all it was released on video and some of the copies that were to be given away with Guitar magazine escaped.
