Just a question does anyone know if Prince is still with Universal. I noticed he was nominated for NAACP Awards and it has him listed with Universal.

i doubt it. 3121 was released through universal, so until he's on to the next thing, i'm sure the media is going to say he's still a universal artist.

Universal Publishing and Universal Music are two distinct and separate entities. Universal Music simply had a distribution deal for the 3121 album. Universal Publishing has been managing his catalogue, royalties, etc.for many years now.

That being said..who knows, maybe he was happy enough with the one off deal with Universal Music to use them for a new album....
