There were rumblings in this community about new Prince product being made available mid March.

Has anyone got an update for me. I am thinking the buzz is far too quiet for this to happen, though I hope.

I also hope the quality of new product would be as high as 3121 or the Rainbow Children, though I know Prince is very capable, my intuition tells me his new record (whenever it drops) will be more akin to the mediocre Musicology.

I perdict something.

I am also desperately waiting for a new Prince album. I love the jazzy sound too, but honestly would prefer a straight ahead rock album. The fact though that he was wearing the 3121 jacket at the NAACP awards leads me to think that this concept is not over. Who knows with Prince though. I do think that not dropping a new album after the Superbowl performance is a badly wasted opportunity if he chooses not to.
