There's tons of hotels in the Hammersmith area.
Plenty of cheap ones but be careful as there's some real dives round that way. Probably best bargains are to be found in Hammersmith itself, Shepherds Bush and Earls Court areas. Search on www.expedia.co.uk for some good deals.

Oh, I want to go to London. I hope I can get my passport in time. Could someone tell me how far Mancester is from LOndon? I don't think it is very far.

The best hotel actually in Hammersmith is the Novotel. Also, it's only about a 30 minute drive from Heathrow airport, and there are tons of hotels around that way.
As for how far Manchester is from London, it's about a 2 and a half hour ride by train, and from the station you're talking another hour at least, depending on traffic.

The Novotel is just across the road from The Apollo (virtually!)
Not sure what the prices are like, though. *peace* Om

Manchester is about 150 to 200 miles from London! You can get a train easily enough from London, probably take around 2 hours. Also Manchester has it's own airport.
