It was actually a reference to an article in Mix Magazine at the time, that focused on Prince's "studio wizardry". It was primarily based on Prince's original approach to recording, and how several of his techniques hadn't been done previously. "He's a musician's musician..." |

let me add one word to make it clear how I interpret it (I thought the post was a joke!)
(The) mix was right On the 1 the kick drum hit the triple beat Baby, I was poppin' Did one spin, did a second, did the splits Came up, looked around, the joint was hoppin'!
