Which album do you most wish Prince had focused a tour on? In other words most or all of the songs from the following...
Black Album Batman Come Emancipation Chaos and Disorder Rave The Vault Other

Yeah. The Jam Of The Year tour was more or less another "hits" tour in the end (not that there's anything wrong with that ). But he definately distanced himself from that album very shortly after its release. Toejam @ Peach & Black Podcast: http://peachandblack.podbean.com

Black Album** Batman*** Come* Emancipation Chaos and Disorder*** Rave*** The Vault* Other I love Chaos & Disorder & Hate The Vault. But I would like to have seen an intimate piano tour Of One Nite Alone music. We all want a big hit again because
we want to relive the Hysteria & Pandemonium we experienced when Purple Rain was Hot. Actually, he doesn't care if it happens again or not.

My picks are:
Emancipation Batman The Vault “When I give food to the poor, they call me a saint. When I ask why the poor have no food, they call me a Communist.” Brazilian bishop Dom Hélder Câmara

Unless I was asleep at the wheel, the Sign o the Times tour never came to the United States in 1987/88. Unless, of course, you count the movie. That's a show I really wanted to see -- the set, the band, the songs and the vibe would have made for an awesome experience.

The Americans are complaining a lot about the SOTT tour, but they’ve had the best two gigs of the entire SOTT tour: Sign "O" The Times Tour Warm-Up Concert - First Avenue, Minneapolis: March 21st 1987 Intro, Housequake, Girls & Boys, Slow Love, Hot Thing, Now's The Time, Sheila E Drum Solo, Strange Relationship, Forever In My Life, Kiss, It's Gonna Be A Beautiful Night Rupert's, Minneapolis: September 5th 1987 Sign "O" The Times, Play In The Sunshine, Little Red Corvette, Housequake, The Ballad Of Dorothy Parker, The Sex Of It, Now’s The Time, Drum Solo, Girls And Boys, Slow Love, I Could Never Take The Place Of Your Man, Love & Happiness, I Want To Take You Higher, Let’s Go Crazy, When Doves Cry, Purple Rain, 1999, Kiss, I’ll Take You There, Mother Popcorn, It’s Gonna Be A Beautiful Night I guess you don't live in Minneapolis, but both shows are released as a boot!

And the New Year's Eve concert at Paisley Park where Miles Davis briefly appeared. I remember rumours that Prince was going to tour as the half-batman half-joker Gemini figure from the Batman videos, that would have been cool! Instead we got the Nude tour, which was still pretty cool, and featured quite a few Batman tracks.

SOTT. He needed to bring it here to the U.S. and the album deserved at least another 6 months of promotion for more singles to be released as the tour would continue. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

3121 i hope will be toured, i think some of those tracks would work very well live, indeed he's doing some now. I'd love to hear a 3121 tour that had a core set of 3121, Fury, Black sweat, Te Amo', Love, Satisfied, The Word, Get on the Boat and The Dance. So far i have yet to hear the Word, Love and The Dance live, the rest sound great IMHO.

I think Emancipation would get my vote only because this is when Prince really opened back up to us.....he finally got away from Warner Bros. and got to do music his way and that is what we got when Emancipation came out.....I also feel that is why it was three discs.....if you listen to everything from Emancipation to 3121 you will see the Prince we all missed while he was with Warner.....when you are under contract with a record compnay you cut the tracks they want you to cut and the release consists of those tracks and nothing else.....as welll as you singles.....your singles are the tracks the execs. pick that shoud be singles.....so I think if Prince was to have toured in support of this release it probably would have blown away the shows he has done as of late because he was "freshley freed" as he likes to call it so it would have been no holds barred in my opinion.....and if Prince does do this tour in support of 3121 look out world.....he has always been a tremendous performer and he only gets better.....but with all the BS still circulating around the Super Bowl.....and we have seen how he attacks the songs on shows such as the Super Bowl HT.....SNL.....and such this will definetley be a must see show
