Warner Bro's should have written Slave across their face Just heard "I Can't Love You Anymore". What an absolutly amazing song. A friend told me it was from the early or mid 90's.
All the people who bought his, albeit, debateable, crap in the 90's should write "Slave" on their cheeks till he "Frees" this song. Remember how he wanted the "Gold Experience" freed. Well, I want this song freed. If I'm WB and had him under contract, I would've ask...hmmm, "Solo" or "I Can't Love You Anymore" is he mad at us? Why, the crap with gems like this laying around? If the song wasn't from that time period, well, then just disregard the WB input. A bunch a suits with "slave" scrawled on their faces, staring at each across a meeting table makes a great visual. He doesn't write lyrics like that anymore. [Edited 2/26/07 20:00pm]

He was mad at them and therefore wouldn't give them new cuts, just filler stuff outta the vault to fill his contract quotas. I'm sure there's tons of stuff that he should free for our listening pleasure.

Funny you mention this song and WB. I always felt this song was about WB.

i really don't like this song too much, it sounds like a musical song,
not like something prince would write for one of his own albums or one of his own projects. the rhymes are very teenage poetry. i can't love u anymore/so i'm walking out the door and true love lives on lollipops and crisps
