That is a new fucking low for them. It's disgraceful.
US NPGMC members got first dibs on ALL seats, as far as I know. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

US NPGMC members got first dibs on ALL seats, as far as I know. Sadly, this is not an unusual situation. A number of U.S. dates "sold-out" thru the NPGMC before people got tix. Other fun snafus happened like some members seated in sections behind people who got tix thru ticketmaster or contests. Also, some shows listed and went on-sale thru ticketmaster before NPGMC even notified people. A number of U.S. members were left out of either member perks or in some cases the entire show due to NPGMC mismanagement. One word in his defense, a number of other artists now do pre-sale thru their websites/fanclubs. John Mayer, for instance, does this and on his recent U.S. jaunt, the "presale" tix always were sold-out before all "members" got them...Then again, I just registered for his fanclub and didn't pay $100 for it...

US NPGMC members got first dibs on ALL seats, as far as I know. Yep. And there were no problems with sales (when they fiunally figured out that password thingy). But here is Europe they had to limit tickets. Why? Probably the venue gets less money for tickets sold through NPGMC then they get for general public tickets.

I had 2 bad experiences with the NPGMC myself in the U.S...I wasn't alone
I missed out on his chicago shows, but at least was able to eventually get a celebration pass... anyways, not to fuel the fire...but this is just another case of NPGMC f***ing things up. They did it all thru the U.S. and now they're gonna do it all thru Europe. Just hope he doesn't do to you what he did to N. American fans after the celebration 2..Announcing a whole tour with "confirmed dates" even put some shows on-sale. Then canceled the whole tour and never gave an explanation... Alright, I'll leave y'all alone to vent now GOOD LUCk

NPGMC is a complete swiz. A waste of my $100. If you treat yur real fans like this, how can you expect to keep them???
I've been looking forward to these concerts for years - now I'm not even sure if I want to go.

The number of tickets available for pre-sale was limited in the US too. The number of tickets a club member could by at a time was also limited. It's the same. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

But if he can't even meet the current demand, why keep pushing for new members? .

Again, simple, you create a cut off date, before the tickets are available. That way, no one gets a nasty shock and all customers are satisfied. The chance of someone joining late, should not have a negative effect on those who signed up in a timely manner. Thats bad management. .

I thought there were enough tickets for everyone in the US.

You know very well there will be people who miss the cut off and say he is alienating his fans that don't follow his every move, blah, blah, blah. All fans/customers will never be satisfied. This has been proven over and over again. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

If his site was set up properly, he could announce via email that during a certain few days, there would be a presale for that particular show. During those days, only current members can purchase tickets, even if they sign up an hour before the presale ends and purchase the concert tickets 5 minutes later. If the site was more dynamic it would be able to accomodate this. The could sell as many tickets as needed for the members, and whatever remained make available to the public once the cutoff date expired.

They should be thankful if they get one. The people signing up have a right to be mad. Its ridiculous to screw someone then tell them to chill out.

I saw posts here at the org from U.S. members who paid $100 for the "best" seats and still ended up in row 15 or 20.
