What's so bad? Everything & nothing... it's all a matter of perspective. I like Rave better than N.E.W.S. but that's just my personal opinion. | |

I think like most of Prince's albums (yes even his classics) there are a few bad tracks! Trouble is there are more than usual so the overall quality of the album is low.
However, there are also some excellent tracks (as with all his albums). Personally I think it's a shame he didn't wait a little longer and combine the strongest RUTJF tracks with the strongest tracks from the shelved High album (I'm thinking, "When Will We Be Paid", "U Make My Sun Shine", "When Eye Lay My Hands On U" and others). Between those two "albums" there was probably a very strong album! 'I loved him then, I love him now and will love him eternally. He's with our son now.' Mayte 21st April 2016 = the saddest quote I have ever read! RIP Prince and thanks for everything. | |

^^ I think a lot of that has to do with the quantity put out. If he'd just relax & take a vacation & meditate or something & then come out with something say two years later... but then I'd be spastic with waiting so that would defeat the purpose.  | |
