Purple Rainout Throughout the whole performance at The SUperbowl I was thinking the rain that was going on was artificial. THere was big lightning strikes going off at the start. I know Prince wouldn't perform in bad weather unless it's inteenional. The amazing thing it happened perfectly not just with the begining of the set but the end.....Prince all time most famous tune,Purple Rain. That was just to coincedental. I was thinking it was part of the show since that was Purple Rain. I was trying to tell if the rain was Purple. But no somene told me, it just coincided. Working up a purple sweat. | |

lol Yeah. I was watching the game, so I knew it wasn't, but it was so cool how he didn't falter in the rain. But what do you expect? The Purple Rain thing was just coincidence, but totally crazy. I don't think the rain was purple... I like the use of the sheet to make him appear large than life and his guitar solo was awesome. His symbol guitar has a really good sound. The rain only helped Prince look more impressive. had 2 run away... pride was 2 strong. It started raining, baby, the birds were gone | |

They faked the rain for the whole game, to make Prince's halftime show better.
