Printable If Prince doesn't have a new album in him right now, then we sure don't want him to "force it" and put out something substandard. And 3121 was his best album in 10 years, imo.

 ...okay, so like I have said before I am more of an 80's chick, but, that's not to say I wouldn't welcome and new tour! I think that would be just simply awesome. I'm probably not the biggest 3121 fan, and I did attend the Musicology concert, so I am ready for another one. Prince seems to always have fantastic vibes at his concerts and if there is truely one in the works., then heck yah..I'm there!!    Because of God..we 2 r 1~~Darren & Suzyn forever

You know, 3121 isn't "shit" at all. As a matter of fact, most of his songs seem to have a different life when performed live. I just think he may have missed his opp to truly capitalize on the momentum he had when he kicked off that project.
It would be better if he had a new album to promote if he wants to extend the life of his 3121 bits....sort of mix them in there. I am MrVictor.... | |

I know he has something up his sleeve before he tours. You just never known what this great man will do! I am excited to find out and no matter what he plays I will be at his concert! I never miss a chance to see him and his beautiful hands on those guitars!

Why is everyone slamming it? It's made me start listening to him again. Were you guys happier with Musicology, which I thought was just, meh? As far as "going back to the vault", I couldn't disagree with you more. He needs to exercise whatever muscle he has left on new material. There will be enough time to empty the vault later on. | |

Check it, if he does a tour, then he can have the The Family, Sheila E. or The Time on tour with him. Shoot, there aren't that many old skool tours lately and I think that this is a good move...You can't get all of these acts together in Vegas. It doesn't matter what album he is supporting, just tour. I want to see the Family on a Prince Tour. I saw him in Melbourne in 1991 doing the Diamonds and Pearls tour, then in on One Night Alone in London (cant remember the year), Always he was great. I was planning to travel to Vegas to see him there, thought it would be amazing to not only see an amazing city but to see Prince again, playing at home and in a really tight outfit. I think he should stay in Vegas and WE should all go to see him!!
