ALOT of Prince songs aren't easily pegged into any time period.
 , Gold, D&P, and to some extent COME can be. But for the most part, I fell Prince's music tends to be hard to pin down as far as what year it came from.
I can listen to SOTT, LoveSexy or ATWIAD and if I didn't already know, have a hard time trying to figure out what time period these were released. | |

He could re-release Controversy tomorrow and it would be an instant hit. The groove, production and lyrical content are all timeless.
