I JUST FIGURED OUT WHAT "TICK TICK BANG" IS ABOUT!  How did I not get the lyrics the first time?
Prince wanted to be "finished" all over his subject.

i love that song. it's dumb and crass, but that's why i don't put my prince albums next to my philip glass albums.
there's a jimi hendrix sample in that song, right? and princess superstar samples 'tick tick bang' in one of her songs, though maybe she's sampling jimi too.  | |

Wow. I don't do that because it would totally mess up my alphabetical system (plus I'd have to go buy some Philip Glass albums in the first place, and I'd rather not spend the money. there's a jimi hendrix sample in that song, right?
