Prince: Pre-Fame I went to the Black and White Gallery in NYC today!
It was "warm"(45!), so my sister and I caught the train to the city and checked out Robert Whitman's exhibit. http://www.blackandwhitea...n-ch.html# I know someone posted the pics a while back- (couldn't find the link to the thread, sorry!) If you go to the gallery website you can see them again.... There is also a wall with poster-sized proof sheets with lots of different shots/poses. Why does prince look like Dwayne on "What's Happening?"  I don't have time to listen to new music, I've got too much old Prince to discover. Classic example : I was at club Nokia at the midnight show and didn't know "In a large room with no lights" . . . my bad Prince | |

thanks so much for that. it made my day. i'm a photographer and my dream is to photograph P someday. now i can imagine exactly what it must have felt like to photograph him (back then). it's so neat to see P's ever-present PERSONALITY shining thru. lovely, lovely, lovely.  | |
