My View On Prince Hello again all. I just wanted to give my lil' insight on Prince since my being a fan of his for over 20 years now 
First and Foremost I must say there have been very few releases by Prince that I dislike...and when I say releases I am talking about songs. I have always been able to find music on every release that I enjoy, .and I must be honest and say the newer stuff is my fave - only because I feel Prince has "grown" in his music and his guitar playing as well. Don't get me wrong, his older stuff was great too - my all time fave Prince song is "The Beautiful Ones" so that just shows you what I mean, but it is great to see him grow as a professional and that is what we get with ever Prince release it is a constant evolving of his music. I have been reading these boards for sometime now and just haven't had enough time to sit and write this until now. One of the things that puzzled me was the fact that there aren't more fans of his movies, and I don't mean just "Purple Rain" either LOL. I think releasing "Purple Rain" really hurt him in a way because once you release something like "PR" the world wants that over and over again, and lets be honest "Under The Cherry Moon" and "Graffiti Bridge" are no "Purple Rain" but what they are are more great releases by Prince. I happen to find "UTCM" quite comical and I enjoyed it, I also think "Graffiti Bridge" was good for what it was but it never should have gotten the stigma of "PR 2", that is what killed it because once again we wanted a "PR" scale movie and it just fell short but was great as well. I for one hope Prince keeps evolving and releasing great music, and I will continue to support him in anything he does
