I love them both, but I gotta go with "Pink Cashmere" - beautiful, intimate and simple. The way the guitar and strings sort of wrap around each other at the end still has the power to give me chills.
As far as "Crucial" goes, I never liked it on bootlegs, but it sounded like a completely different song on Crystal Ball, and I was instantly hooked. I must say that I like the guitar solo over the sax solo, and I also prefer the fact that Prince muted the sax during the chorus on the released version. But fading it out halfway through the guitar solo... | |

I like both songs;however,
when I would go visit my friend's apartment, I would put on the crystal ball cd and listen to crucual over and over again, so my pick is definitely crucial. | |

I actually never listened to Pink Cashmere all the way through until reading this post, due to how weak the first couple minutes are. I figured I would give it another try due to all the votes Pink was getting... While I'll admit the guitar is nice at the end of Cashmere, as a whole, it doesn't hold a candle to Crucial. Not even in the same ballpark... | |
