this is a tough one! But I think Reflection was a rare glimpse into his "regular person" side albeit not a definition. Shows how he thinks about everyday things as we all do- plants, his hair, his teenage past and of course, the loss of his mother.

I know very few, but I'd have to say that the same that defines him best out of the ones I've heard is hands down Purple Rain.

That defines him as a musician because on every occasion when he plays it, he does something different and always makes it the best it can be.
The way he plays it on guitar helps define who he is. Every guitar solo reaches new heights as he always tries to do as an artist.And just hearing the way he makes the guitar sound... it's like he's making his very soul audible for all to experience and hear, feel it explain itself the way his words could never do.

That's a very good question. If aliens came down and said, "who is this Prince? Give us just one song to sum him up, 'cause we gotta get going", I would definitely give them...
