For those of us who are always optimistic-Do you think that Prince has ever read any of the statements that you have made here? I know that the question of Prince being an orger has appeared so many times . But really do you think he has ever read some of your opinions and would you be ashamed if he had?

i don't know if he personally has, but his camp certainly has.

as for what prince does or doesn't do online these days, i try not to speculate. personally, i think he's grown bored with the whole online thing and doesn't want to wade through all the empty negativity and general zaniness on some of these boards.

but i think when something is posted that would be of special interest to him, the information gets to him. how that happens, i couldn't tell ya.

and that's all i know.

i don't think he pays anyone to do it...i think there are some folks who are involved in the whole online fan community thing, and sometimes prince might ask them what's up. i don't think it's anything terribly covert or mysterious...just totally casual, like "so what are the fammyfams sayin' about me THIS week?"

He's curious about what people are saying about him, so I'm sure that he occasionally surfs through forums (like this one) during his spare time.

I am not ashamed of anything I have written so far, not sure though if he would like that I wrote about when I met him, he's probably like good thing I didn't take a picture with her, she would have posted it here.

I would have to say yes, and no.

I mean if you were a celebrity, wouldn't you want to know what your fans really think of you and what you are doing at the time. I know I would, it's like research.

I know it was supposed to be yes or no...but I like to talk.

1. I truly really don't know.
2. No, I wouldn't be ashamed of anything I've said. If I've ever said anything negative, I don't worry about it if it's really what I think. If I've ever been too anything else...whatever...that's me.

My first response was a NO because I would think he doesn't have time for this sorta thing.
But honestly I don't know and I don't care if he's read anything I've posted on here or not.
Prince does not have to answer to ANYONE on this website, including me, but the revelation I have is that I don't have to answer to him for any of my own opinions or thoughts. I am not his employee and I don't want anything from him. I just enjoy many of his songs and will purchase from his releases what I choose. It's a joy coming to prince.org because it's fun.
One day I would like to attend one of his concerts because I never have but it will be on my own terms and at my own expense. I do not want to personally meet him. I would simply attend a concert, enjoy it, maybe talk to and meet some fans, then go home to live my own life, work my own job and business, and survive as I've always done.
