You'd either get MJ/Prince fans not buying tickets becuase they hate Prince/MJ too much. Or you'd get MJ fans booing/walking out during Prince's part of the show, and Prince fans booing/walking out during Michael's part of the show. They've also never performed together so I don't know how well they'd work together on the same stage. The only way I can see a duet performance working is if Prince played guitar or piano while MJ sung. It could be kinda cool. As long as they both checked their egos at the door, it could work.

Will.i.am is said to be working on MJ's upcoming album so MJ was probably his date to the show.

Honestly tho, if Michael does want to aproach Prince for a collaboration, it wouldn't be the first time. I don't know if he'll ever wear P down. Still, I think they would get along in a social setting. Prince stuck up for MJ in 2000, and told people that they should just leave him alone. I think deep down, they respect eachother.

Sometimes I think it would be weird for MJ and Prince to perform together. I don't know if it's just me, but after the whole child molestation thing, I get kind of depressed when I think about MJ. Then I think about all the bad press a performance like that could get, even if it was a good performance...

But then sometimes, I think it would be awesome to see them performing and working together, since they're such great artists, and that I like both of their music.
