His vocal line and harmonies are sublime. Possibly even a contender for his greatest vocal performance on record.

Oh, it's a lovely song! And Michael Bland's drumming is superb - one of his best performances on disc. Really really nice.

I still don't understand why everybody hates Tony M and the rap sections of the Love symbol Album I mean, what's wrong with it?

By the way, 2the9's is the best track form the album by far! I always took the song to mean that Prince is going to love her in the wildest way possible: "the kind of love that takes over your body mind and soul..."
