That wasn't rude that shigitty was funny as hell. If I recall he got prodded to go on stage. What would make Q or anybody think that if he didn't participate in a recording session that he would be any more likely to participate in that trainwreck of a live performance. Now the way I heard it was...Michael Jackson didn't want Prince to participate in the recording session and threw a hissy fit stating that he'd scrap the whole thing if Prince participated. So Sheila E went in Prince's place. That's why his rudeness during the live performance seemed pretty justifiable to me at the time! Hell, I loved it actually! It was a coolest Royal FU I'd ever seen! Yes, Mods! I know that's just a rumor but come on...it's old as hell...you can let it slide this one time, right?

The worst, though, was when he broke that poor crippled woman's sand dollar and refused to listen to the cassette tape she tossed on the stage. Made her cry, he did! lolololol!!!!! Actually, the crippled woman and the one with the sand dollar were two different people. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Are you all talking about the time during ONA someone put a cd on stage and Prince held it up and said "What's this?" and then he said "Would you come get your cd?" Did he really break someone's sand dollar or is this a joke?

Yes, there was someone who used to go by the name Divinity6 here on the org. The story is that she had written a second verse to a Prince song (I believe it was "Crazy You") and put the CD on stage. Prince didn't like that too well and told her to come and get her CD. The sand dollar breaking was not a joke, it really happened. I think the story is that another lady brought a sand dollar to a show to give to Prince. When she went to give it to Prince, I think he dropped it or something and it broke. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.
