Funny thing is I Never heard Drums on this track. Basically it is more Piano and organ music . Are you Sure there are Drums in this song? Hard for me to get to play it now,but I don't believe there are Drums in this Religious ,Gospel tune written by Prince and John L. | |

From a non-musician point of view. I thought the drums were a rip off of purple rain. However, I think the songwriting is much stronger on The Ladder.
