There was someone reporting, probably in a thread BorisFishPaw posted earlier, where they said they heard Timbaland on the radio, before the song came on, dissing prince, so in that respect you'd think parts of the song are about Prince. Similarly the media tried to make something of Princes joke about sexy having never left, so again, it does link P to JT.
On the other hand, like we've all seen, JT likes to give props to P and go to his shows, so who knows? Prince still invites him to his parties. I'm sure we'll find out one day! Interesting someone says Sexyback is partly ripping off Black Sweat - if it is then you'd assume JT wouldn't be making comments about Prince not being able to hack it nowadays, if he's still looking to Princes current releases. I saw a clip of the Sexyback video last night, can someone else confirm to me that it looks very similar in style to Princes Black Sweat video???? | |
