Was Camille a concept that existed merely in the late 80's or is she still around?

Prince mentions during the Emancipation period on the Oprah interview that he has mutliple personalities and one of them is a girl or some shit like that. Was he eluding to the concept of Camille? I seriously doubt he has multiple personalities, but I'm sure he was either trying to say that he was gay without having to say it, or just being a bitch. oooooRRRRR, referring to Camille.


Anyways, does anyone know when Camille was put to bed? Or if she is still a concept he uses, what recordings she shows up on of the RECENT past?
