Do you think Prince has read/likes... Reading this in one of my classes...
Do you think Prince has read/likes Descartes?? I think he would dig "Meditations on First Philosophy" ...Its mad kool. ... I ask because after I was reading, one of the things that came to mind was Prince's five word 'Webby' acceptance speech; "Everything you THINK is True." (It was something that seemed associated ...like having an orange/tangerine/grapefruit, you get citrus.) ...Any thoughts? + [Edited 1/7/07 18:38pm] +

Certainly wouldn't surprise me. He liked the Matrix which had Cartesian philosophy behind it.

he does LOVE reading books, he THINKS it makes him smart News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.
Bad News: Prince wasted too much quality time doing so. You have those internalized issues because you want to, you like to, stop.

Or maybe he just enjoys reading because it is enjoyable like lots of people. Besides reading makes a man appear sexy not smart, everyone knows this!

Prince once made the comment that he only reads the bible, but there is a picture of him reading a book that's not the bible and he reads Watchtowers, so I guess he does read more than the bible.

Gotta bring this up again...
Is there anyone who would agree that "The Matrix" 'fits better' with Kant's "Prolegomena to Any Future Metaphysics" insofar of the idea of Morality/'Ought'/Choice as an expression of freedom? Or better yet... Is the movie more like "The Philosophy Battle Royal"(cause if you digg, it seems like Agent Smith is based on Hume's "An Enquiry concerning Human Understanding" philosophy) + [Edited 2/15/07 15:05pm] +
