Hypothetically - Prince Reunites With Denise Matthews aka Vanity What would be the odds of these two ever rekindling a friendship/romance or even just a working relationship?
Seems like they are both at similar points in their lives regarding religion and leaving old images behind. I think Prince could benefit from having someone in his life who was around when he wasn't that famous yet . . . Any opinions?

I think he would be cordial to her, but she's too...I don't know..."out there" for him. Nothing against her. I think she's sweet and a sincere person, but I don't think he would want to be associated with her evangelism and all the talk about her past.
Did any of you talk to her on the phone back in the early Fall when she was trying to get people to buy her book? She told me some weird things that you normally don't tell strangers.

I get the impression that the Vanity/Prince relationship is a bit overrated when it comes to romance...I always saw it as more of an artistic/business relationship than a deep romance.I mean, he wrote When Doves Cry for Susan Moonsie and The Beautiful Ones ( and probably a dozen other classics ) about Susannah Melvoin. Sure, the relationship with Vanity was more publicized but that doesn´t necessarily make it deeper than it really was. Where they really even that close back in the days? Most biographies tell a different story. " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"
