I want to be in my school talent show this year, but I'm unsure of what I should do. I know that I want to just sing, just dance, or sing and dance, but what I do all depends on what song I perform. I really wanna do "Controversy", but for that song, I'll only dance. I also really wanna do something that shows people that I can sing, but I'm sort of limited in my vocal range some days, and on other days I can go with the best of them. I've just discovered that I'm able to sing "Adore" most days. The only time I can't sing it is when I'm really having a rough day. I'm really diggin' "Musicology" as something to dance to. But then again, I wanna do a Michael Jackson song because he's my other favorite singer. I think it would be wrong for me to not do one of his songs becuse he was my idol since I was 4. I really wanna do, "She Drives Me Wild" by MJ cuz its tha shizznit! I just got tha "Dangerous Special Edition" album the day before yesterday! Anywayz, I also wanna dance to "Workin' Day and Night" by Mike.

I just don't know what to do!

I was thinkin' that the best thing to do would be to make a mix track and mix up both Michael and Prince and make it last no more than 5 minutes, because that's the longest that any act can be.The only problem is, is that I don't have my own computer at home, and the computers that I use can't do it. I can't get to my uncle's house in time to do it becuase I won't be able to see him until the week after the talent show! So I have to pick just one song!

I need help! What do you think I should do?

U should try it... U can do different things with it (vocally).

Thanx yall. I'll probably sing "Adore" by P or "Off The Wall" by MJ. I really wanted to dance though cuz I'm a lot less shy when I dance rather than when I sing, but I don't wanna dance alone. None of my friends really can dance, or if they do dance they just don't wanna be in the show.

Well, if you want to do an MJ song, "You Are Not Alone" is a nice song. I've sang YANA in pageants for years and have won the talent award many times.

If you want to sing Prince, I think Controversy is a good one. I sing it all the time acapella. Or maybe "Nothing Compares 2 U."

I play guitar and you're exactly what i need for my talent show!! Well I'd actually suggest Baby I'm A Star if you're gonna do splits and all that fancy stepping; but for something a little more revelant to how us teens dance today I'd say maybe like Pheromone or Loose! And for MJ, go with Dancing Machine!!
