Does anybody know or ever heard of Prince painting? Has he ever done absract painting as a hobby or drawings to some extent???

maybe that´s the only instrument he can´t play..

Yes, Drawings. He draws his own designs for his clothes and he has drawn some artwork for the Gett Off and 1999 album covers. Inside the 1999 album on the liner notes there is a picture of Prince on his bed naked under a sheet with a paintbox and brush in his hand. I'm sure he does abstracts and watercolors too. He is a Musician and usually when one is good in 1 art they also are good in another. He is the Artist and He is also a Painter who lives in a box of Paint.{From a Case Of U}

Those character drawings from the NPGMC site look like his style as well. I wouldn't be surprised if they were his.

Eye think u will find that all the drawings on the NGPMC are the works of Steven Parke. He is the commisioned artist for Prince

But dont take my word as gospel. U never know, the drawings could b the work of Prince!!

Prince named the artist that drew the cover art for TRC, but if you pay attention in PR, when he slaps the out of Appolonia, she knocks over paintbrushes and colored pencils. That is supposed to be an indication that he draws and paints.

What Femi said at the celebration is when Prince gives him a cd to mix or what not, before the time he is done mixing it, Prince has already came up with the artwork design for the cd. What is odd tho, is when the final product is released, credit is given to the photograper n others for the art design.

Recently, Sam Jennings has been taking photos n works on the art designs (it gives him credit on the back of the One Night Alone tour book)
