Portraits of The Artist As A Young Man

Beginning February 16, if you're in New York City, check out Robert Whitman's photography exhibition Prince: Pre-Fame at the Black & White Gallery on the ground floor of the Chelsea Terminal Warehouse at 636 West 28th Street.

wow looks like he's alwayz been good at takin pics. good job prince. it seemed like he did not dress so wierd back in the day but then again everybody 2 me dressed wierd in the 70's.

I know... heh...

The question is what do I prefer?
1) His "poofy" 80's hairstyle in "Purple Rain"
2) His current hairstyle minus the scarves he seems to commonly wear.

It's a tough choice, if you ask me.

Love the thread title. Wasn't 'Portrait' one of the books on the shelf in the 'Musicology' cd liner artwork?

Wish I was in NY. I'd go see this exhibit.
