La La La La Means I Love You. Just found out that the Jackson Five did this song first? Was it their original or did they get it elsewhere?
For some reason, I'm a little disappointed that Prince took from the Jackson's. A prince never lacks legitimate reasons to break his promise.

It was originally by The Stylistics, and has been covered by dozens of acts. Prince certainly did not "take from jackson's".

"Taking from the Jackson's" when I thought they had the original. Not the case, so no taking. A prince never lacks legitimate reasons to break his promise.

Awful, AWFUL version of this song. Perhaps I wouldn't hate it so much if it were on disc one of Emancipation, which I already dislike, but to place it right after Face Down on the most forward-looking of the three discs...

On Emancipation, from 1996. Not available on iTunes or other online stores - you have to buy it on CD.
