Just watched Lettermen..
He was saying that Prince had stopped by the studio on his way
to Miami...
Everyone started to cheer..
then this little short white guy comes walking out.. he had on a
white ruffled shirt and purple coat.. Ala Purple Rain...
He said something like "Lets go crazy my Paisley fans"...
then he raised his GLOVED hand.. and waved..
It was SO stupid cause they were combining Michael Jackson and Prince.
The guy walked out with a man carrying an Umbrella (like Jacko has)
and he had ONE glove on.
VERY STUPID!!!!!
I can't stand Lettermen!~

Watch Leno instead - he admires Prince. When Prince played "Everlasting" on his show - Leno did the Wayne's World "I'm not worthy" thing after he got done playing. Sweet.

Lettermen is really bad about Be littleing his guests... Notice
how Prince doesn't sit down and chat with Lettermen.. he just sings
and leaves basically..

I remember the night he performed dolphin on the Letterman show. Letterman kept holding up the Prince symbol, but each time there was something wrong with the symbol like an extra point, or an extra squiggled curve or some shit.

Just saw it...and yeah, not very funny at all. The audience didn't really laugh much either. But Letterman really acted like Prince was going to come out and totally fooled me. It would have been better if Larry Bud Melman had come out.

WTF is this? Is he trying to say Prince is copying MJ? Pfft.

I saw it. If it had been funny I would have laughed.The glove and umbrella threw everybody off. It was stupid.

He was just taking a swipe because Prince won't do his show anymore.

Some people need to get thicker skins! I saw this on Letterman last night and thought it was hilarious! If you ever watch Letterman you know he does crazy stuff like that all the time. I didn't in any way, shape or form find it to be a "diss" on Prince or insulting in any way. it was just a goof. Nothing more, nothing less. Oh and the guy said "Let's go crazy my paisley children!"

I've heard everybody from Jamie Foxx to Dave Chappelle make fun of Prince and I laughed my butt off.

Letterman is not nearly as good to Prince as Leno. I would choose P's stellar performances on Leno over a Letterman joke anyday.
