East Appeciation Thread Man do I love this track. There are so many parts to this song. It's like a mixture of jazz, funk, acid jazz, little bit a techno and rock. I love when Prince approaches a song like this.

They played it while we were waiting for DJ Rashida to start. I was like what is this and someone told me it was from the NEWS CD. the infamous NEWS cd lot's of folks here dont like, so I bought it from the boutique and have been jamming it since. I listen to it almost every day.  | |

East is my favorite track on NEWS. It's the one I always listen to when I'm on my way home from a rehearsal and need to unwind quickly -- so I can go to sleep as soon as I get home. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves. | |
