I dig the Peppers and I think that John is a very talented guitarist - he was sorely missed when he was gone. However, I really don't think that he can be compared to Prince. I think they are in two different leagues. When I compare Prince to other maintstream guitarists I think more along the lines of Santana, Hendrix, Zappa. Prince's versatility, style, technique and guitar showmanship put him firmly among my top three guitarists of all time. perfection is a fallacy of the imagination... | |

John is the best new guitarist!
He has allot of Prince in him. The guy released like 7 albums in one year!!! I was actually hoping the RHCP would do a fast song at the grammys! That is the the only slower song  John started to bring it at the end, but I was hoping with Prince in the audiece, they might connect.
John & Prince should work together!!! I just know if they hooked up, they would make amazing music together! Prince should go in this direction! | |
