Do You Know All Of The Lines In The Movie "Purple Rain"? My friend (another orger) and I do. Last night, when we were watching "Purple Rain" on TV-One, we were quoting a lot of the lines. We were either saying them even before the person said it, or right along with them. We were cracking up laughing, saying, "Shoot, we should have been in the movie!". Guess that's the sign of a true fan, one who can recite the lines to "Purple Rain" one by one. Either that, or a truly obssessed fan, I'm not sure which one. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Yes know almost everyone of them!
I think Purple Rain really sticks with a person. For some reason it's much easier to remember the lines of this movie than let's say UTCM or Graffiti Bridge.

I would say obsessed but that's allright.
I probably know most of them although I haven't seen in the movie in probably 7 or 8 years since I bought the original dvd. I bought the special edition but never watched the movie only the extras.

I gotta get the DVD that is not all cut up and edited. They took out waay too many good scenes in all three movies last night. I think the person editing them must not be a Prince fan. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

I've been wanting to get the special edition just for the extras. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

If I really like or love a movie, then it is all in the brain and mind. I says lines from it all the time. I have some many movies that I can literally do that too. You can ask my family. Yes, I have Purple Rain memorized. I just think of sences in my head and I am gone.

Glad I'm not the only one. Sometimes quoting lines from a movie can be fun - impress your family, friends, coworkers, or whoever. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

OMG - I can picture a fan or fam meeting Prince and telling him, "I absolutely LOVED your movie "Purple Rain." In fact, I know all of the lines in it!" I can picture Prince looking at them like this: Either that or he would tell them that they're a fanatic. Whoops, I think I may have just described myself! [Edited 2/11/07 13:22pm] RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Yes, I use to anyways. (smile)
When I saw this post thought I would share. When the movie was running in the theaters I paid to see it 27 times, would go to the 7 and back in at the 9 I was a young teen and loved Prince. Now I have too much to do! I'm a bit older, but…still love Prince!

There's also a copy of the original script (with Vanity in it) online. A lot of the lines/scenes were different than the final script. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

I can quote PR and UTCM word for word. My best friend and I use the quotes in daily life! I love a Man who:
Wears More Make Up Than Me. Wears Four Inch Stilleto Boots. Changes His Name To An Unpronouncable Symbol. Who Changes His Name Back From An Unpronouncable Symbol. Oh And Most Importantly, Who Is Sexy Little Drop Of Butterscotch

Yes, I do! back in the day I had a friend who was able to do it also, and we would bounce off lines all the time. Ask where they're going, they'll tell U – "Nowhere"
They've taken a lifetime lease on Paisley Park ...

Yeah, I know (most) of them after watching it like three times (four now) but the problem was last night I was preparing to mouth along with all the lines in the scene after "Take Me With U" but that was all kinda taken out for cable TV and I had forgotten it'd be edited out, what with the nudity and all. Oops. That's like my favorite scene though HE'S COMING AGAIN

I do have this bad habit of making commentary such as "Change your clothes already" or "If you were that upset you'd leave the band, people." As well as mouthing the lines with the people, especially Appollonia, because her lines are really easy for me to remember. HE'S COMING AGAIN
