Did Prince gain new fans from Super Bowl performance? It seems like a great deal of people really liked his performance and since his record sales have spiked a bit, do you all know of anyone who wasn't a Prince fan before the Super Bowl, and became one after the halftime show?
Do y'all think Prince gained new fans after the half time performance?

Absolutely.
I made a thread on my favorite NFL teams site buccaneers.com, about how Prince was doing the Superbowl acouple of days before the show, and everyone was hating on him for being small or being gay or whatever they felt like saying, and then on monday I was going to start a new thread to see if anyone liked the performance, and by the time I got the board there were already 3 or so threads dedicated solely to Princes show! And all the people that were hating and making fun of him earlier were saying that they all used to love him back in the day, and that he is still great, and a bunch of people out of nowhere were saying he is the greatest guitar player alive, that hes a genious and all sorts of positivity. I don't know any people that are new Prince fans because of the performance but I have a strong feeling that many people (particularly people around 20 or so years old) are discovering classic Prince albums for the first time at this very moment and loving it. It's pretty cool to think about . I love the fact that the amazon sales rates have skyrocketed. I wish some of these potential fans would come to the org or HQ for some recommendations first though as it seems that the hot choice is The Very Best of Prince. I think that they'd be way be off with The Hits collection or the new Ultimate collection.
