Thank you, Lord Jesus! A reason to live for another year or two!

What a great title. Bet the band gets back together in less than five years. Begin clock...NOW.

No info at 3121.com. Sigh.

i sincerely doubt Prince would ever call an album Revolution.

he likes all that mystery stuff but i really doubt he'd be that obvious in his current state of mind.

plus think about it - an album called "Revolution" by Prince and The Revolution?

i really don't think so.

confused

At the first "Celebration" we the fans were allowed to submit for possible ideas that we would like as forthcoming albums. Some were options were "Covers", "Guitar Jams", etc. Who knows what it will be but I'm sure it will kick ass.

"Guitar" sounds like the unreleased version of ATWIAD. It sounds very heavily influenced by Wendy Melvoin. In fact, listening to the vocals I'd even guess that it's an 86 outtake and not a new song (Princes voice is a little deeper now). I played "Guitar" and followed it with the live version of "Our Destiny/Roadhouse Garden" they flow together FLAWLESSLY, all this to say... I think not only will we see an album called "Revolution" very soon; but it will also be an album by Prince & The Revolution wink. Also, when you think about it with a bit of nostalgia, we'd be picking up 20 years later after The Revolution disbanded (1987-2007). I'd say it's a big possibility.

God doesn't just tells me how much he "LOVE's" me, God shows me how much he "LOVE's" me. Both telling and showing "LOVE" means to "LOVE". They go hand in hand. You can't have one with out the other. Something is spoken, then followed by an action. That is

I really don't think Guitar will be on his new album.

Sound-and productionwise it sounds very much like a 3121-outtake. And its probably released on the net, to give the 3121.com some 'body' and to gain some extra interest for Prince.

Up yours, lovemachine. U obviously don't know me. Not only would I NEVER do such an idiotic thing, but I barely have the time 2 post here. I am not pretending anything. The e-mail looks authentic, and I am simply accepting that it could be true. I can be cynical and/or sceptical, but there is simply no way 2 determine whether this is real or not. I will not say what I already know, and I won't stand 4 being called a perpetrator of fraud by someone who hasn't the slightest idea of where I'm coming from.

Fight the funk!

No more JB stuff for at least one album. (And I LOVE that stuff)

Let's put out a guitar-heavy-shred-your-face-off-rock-fest. With melody.

No funk.
No jazz.
No blues.
No Darth Nelson.

lol

shocked have you gone completely mad???!!! No funk? Come on now, there's enough Prince creativity to spread around...no funk??? really? boy I tell ya, I don't know what this world is coming to.

And therefore, their next album would have been in 1987...2007 = 20 years later, correct? I know I suck at math but come on.

The NAME of the album is allegedly 'Revolution'... That doesn't mean that any of the former band members of "The Revolution" will be on the new album.
