Prince remakes... What would you say has been the best song that Prince has remade or covered in concert?

Covered in concert would have to be Just My Imagination. My favorite song that P covered on record would be One Of Us. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot. | |

I don't understand a lot of the hate for it... but I gotta say that "Betcha By Golly Wow" (1996) is most likely my favorite Prince remake. Live would most likely be "Just My Imagination" (1988). | |

I know this is gonna sound completely trite, but having been a massive rock fan all my life, I almost popped one off when I heard him rip into the Foo Fighter's 'The Best of You'.
He's been covering Katie Melua's 'Nine Million Bicycles' at The Rio of late, I'd love to know what that's like. I'm not a fan of hers, but I dig the song, and think it would be interesting to hear his version of it. That said, who the hell thought he'd cover The B-52's 'Rock Lobster'?!? Never saw that one coming! | |
