If you're just discovering Prince and you want to know more about the little man....rent this movie called "The Idolmaker". He admits that its one of his favorite movies of all time. I liked the movie before I knew he did. When I heard he really dug it, I watched it again. It all made sense! They way Prince controlled most of the associated artists, the business and how he became a star.
