Would Sign of the times be a better album with Shockadelica on it?

Would Sign of the times be a better album with Shockadelica on it? This song is absolutely awesome and should have given A grade status. Sort of another lonely christmas/17 Days missing out on Purple Rain and I love you in Me missing out on Batman.. Thoughts?

Sign of the Times is a great album. However, I agree with you that Shockadelica should´ve been on the album instead of ending up as some obscure b-side on some not so successful single.
But then again, which song would you delete from the album to make place for the one mentioned above ? I never liked "It", but the live version is fantastic...much like If I Had a Harem or Now or Days Of Wild, "It" sounds much better as a live song, and Shockadelica is a great album or studio song.
" I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

yeah, i've been playing with the tracklist of the album
a lot lately, although it always kinda fall appart when
you start messing with it.

which is weard, considering that it's a collection of a
handfull of songs pulled from various projects which in
turn went through various incarnations.

the fact that it works so well as an album is strange
to me because it doesn't reall seem like an album.

anywho, most recently i've started replacing:

slow love --> crucial

u got the look --> rockhard in a funky place

it's gonna b a beautiful night --> good love / moviestar
and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

i guess you're right. eventho i never liked "beautiful night"
sign o the times just isn't the same without it, or with any
other songs added.

it's fun to play with the tracklist sometimes though biggrin

I'd put it on, and Rock Hard In A Funky Place. AND an edited version of "Databank" instead of IGBABN

Listened to this track this morning! headbang

The rhythm guiar throughout... drool Such a cool tune. nod And a clever example of Prince's songwriting/arranging - I love the way on the (7") version, all the verses are sung in slightly different, yet slightly similar, ways.

He should have released the Camille album!!! mad

Any album would be improved if "Shockadelica" was added, IMHO.
