wtf? that's the stupidest thing I've read here in ages. Wireless transmitters are available for ANY KIND of sound source. The signal is taken from there to the amplifying stage. How the hell do you think air control centers are able to receive audio messages from jet pilots without the jets being connected to the air control towers with cable all the time? Or have you heard, I don't know, about these mysterious things called cellphones? Cold-shit. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

even wired ones will not cause a problem...well if they are set up correctly. they should have a ground to prevent such issues.

Before I got electrocuted,
people couldn't tell that I was Puerto Rican. Now, I got the slight caramel pigment & slighty frizzy hair to match my heritage.

Yes Indeed, can somebody answer the above question??? (I counted 10-11 lightning bolts.) Ever been to a fireworks display where they created forked lightning pyrotechnics? No. That's because they don't exist. That was digitally added onto the tv picture. The people at the concert wouldn't have seen anything.

Yes Indeed, can somebody answer the above question??? (I counted 10-11 lightning bolts.) We saw the lightning on the jumbo-tron screens at rehearsal, It wasn't part of the pyro. Prince, in you I found a kindred spirit...Rest In Paradise.

I was talking to someone who pointed out that if they could play out in the rain during Woodstock in 1969, then Prince could handle it in 2007 with today's technology! (okay, babynoz, I'm officially jealous! ) It was well worth getting sopping wet! Prince, in you I found a kindred spirit...Rest In Paradise.

I was at a concert in the summertime a few years back. The lead singer came up behind the lead electric guitarist and dumped a huge bucket of water all over the guitar player and his guitar right in the middle of a song. The guy was playing live and never missed a beat. I saw this concert in two or three different cities and it was the same thing each time. The first time I saw it, I couldn't believe the guy didn't explode. The second time, I figured it was wireless and wasn't enough to electrocute anyone. The third time, I just started to feel bad for the wet guitar.

'How could P play guitar in the rain and not get electrocuted?'
I don't know what's wrong with the person/people who asked you this question, but my advice for you or anyone else when asked this ridiculous nonsense is: stop, stare at said idiot, take one step back, point at said idiot, laugh until you're light-headed and can barely breath, and then walk away. Anyone who has watched the news and has seen a reporter doing a segment in the rain, should be smart enough to never ask this question. I've seen the reporters holding mics with cords coming out of them; and I'm not going to even get into how much electrical equipment the cameraman is holding. Why don't these special cases ask how the reporter and cameraman are able to do what they do and not get electrocuted? Even if Prince's guitar had a cord, I'm pretty sure they've made rain covers these types of situations...kinda like the ones that cover powerlines. Sweetheart, don't talk to these stupid people anymore. You'll just end up losing precious brain cells trying to understand them. Prince Rogers Nelson
