What would it take for Prince to retire?

I loved the Super Bowl performance. I felt proud for Prince. He's still at the top of his game, and I was happy to see him peform as well as he did on a "world stage" getting his due, and being immortalized on the largest stage in the U.S. conscience.

Seeing Prince at the Super Bowl... for me... was momentous.

So my question is this...

I understand he's a true musician in every sense of the world, and that maybe it's not possible for him to stop, but what do you think it would take Prince to say to himself... "I've done it all. I'm content. I'm done."

Is there any bigger feat in your opinion?

Just wondering... and were you as proud for him as I was?
The public is squeezin' you kiddo. You'd better kick ass on your next album or else!

Whenever The WB Music Group gives Prince his masters back. That's my first guess.

That reminds me of a movie I recently saw called "Feast". There was this old hooker looking broad in it. And I mean Old...They put a subtitle under all the characters when they were intor'd. Hers said that she had blown Mick Jagger...RECENTLY.... falloff

I have no idea, but I wouldn't want him to retire until he feels like the time is right for him. It's his choice so who are we to say what reasons he'd have for retiring.

As long as he's alive and kicking, he'll be around for a long, long time. And I wouldn't have it any other way.

The only way Prince would retire is if his fingers became amputated.
