This is an interesting question...as far as I know, he´s always been into healthy diets and working out but at the same time, there are lots of factors that should actually make him look old, i.e. lack of sleep, touring a lot, processing his hair, make up etc. but I guess doing what you love to do as a job is part of the secret.
It´s interesting to read his tour riders over the years, from Purple Rain to Lovesexy until today....and he´s always had his special requirements and needs, like dumbells, no smoking, humidified air, a certain temperature etc.
Wonder how he manages to keep his hair looking THAT great....

Last night, he was lit from above, below, and straight on. Strong light from all angles, along with a light-diffusing make-up (which I'm sure he uses), will eliminate most of the shadows from one's face and make it look smooth and young.

Trust me -- I'm almost his age and that's how I work my stage make-up.

I would imagine that some of it is not just due to being young "looking" but actually being physically younger than his actual chronological age.

Proper rest can be a factor also. When I've been putting in way more hours than I know I should...I can look like hell. Then I'll get some good sleep...meaning more than my normal 2-4 hours...and I'm back!

I'm pretty certain this week Prince burned the candle from both ends 'til it was gone, with rehearsals, the press conference, mini concerts, the parties, etc. Saturday, he probably just slept and got some proper rest. It really helps!

A healthy lifestyle can keep you looking good your whole life. Not to mention, he has never really looked his age, imo. He's lucky. I do think he's starting to show his age a little, but he is aging very well. He's like a fine wine.

with Botox inbetween his eyebrows and above his eyebrows (but not on his forehead so he looks natural) also surgery under his eyes. Maybe hair plugs, no wig that is clear, but maybe plugs.

This is the way you get surgery and live pretty relaxing and healthy.
