Who also discovered that Prince playbacked the Super Bowl show? I've watched the Super Bowl show 4 times now. The first time I saw it I had a strange feeling about the performance. I mean, playing real live instruments in the rain? Does anybody know how dangerous that is with regard to elecricity?
Plus, if u watch his 'singing'and microphone use carefully, u can see that he is playbacking the show. I believe he pre-recorded the whole show including guitars. This also explains the 14 hour rehearsals. The man is a true control freak.

This was definitely live, including losing the guitar level at the end. It sounded too raw, and had a downright horrible mix, in some places. This was live. Bands play in the rain all the time. There is equipment out there that can withstand the elements.
