Is Prince a G-rated entertainer now or PG-13

Given that the Super Bowl has its share of controversy dealing with its halftime entertainers in the past, the NFL has chosen to have entertainers that pose no threat or doing anything risky or x-rated. Now enters Prince, who is now
under house arrest by Larry Graham and the Jehovah Witness crusade or whatever you call it. We all agree that Prince would've never been called to perform for
this if he was the Prince of 20yrs ago, but now since he has the same disease that Rod Stewart has ,called " use to be naughty now nice", the Super Bowl and the NFL has nothing to worry about. Maybe they might find a cure before halftime and he'll play Gett Off or Sexy MF instead of Lotita

Songs Prince still plays like Black Sweat,Shhh,DMSR,Let's Work and U Got the Look aren't G rated so I'll say PG-13.

I think people take the Prince "not cursing" thing to extremes sometimes.

Prince hasn't become more "boring" or more "saintly". What he's doing is a practical thing. He said on numerous occasions that his fans are older and bringing their kids to the shows now. Ergo, he figured cursing would be a bad idea as it can offend or hurt people.

Sure the Prince of old wouldn't care about offending people--he was in it to make a statement. But the new Prince shows a bit more maturity.

Yeah, the religous angle gets out of hand at times, and is completely anoying as fuck, but I think his decision not curse is not souly based on religious reasons.

That being said, his material is still not 100% clean. Illusion , Coma, pimp, and whatever, along with other songs, shows his themes are still largely about mature subject matter--but the presentation of these themes no longer alienates people who otherwise would take offense.

I just wish he wouldn't go on his religious tirades on stage and alienate non-believers like me though. lol

I dunno. Listen to "Supercute", which a song that is definitely falls within the non cursing era. Prince sings about the buzz of a woman's toy against her "curly hair". PG-13? How about "Mellow" and the "wet circles 'round the toy as you bring yourself to joy",,,, PG-13? R?
"New Power slide...."

Also, do you think that ugly people are God's cruel joke on humanity (like the platypus and the heterosexual) or another form of population control?

what the NFL has been trying to do is book LEGENDS- Mick Jagger had his own share of FCC type hassles back in the day and I believe actually had a lyric dropped last year. So no, Prince wouldn't have been asked 20 years ago- he wasn't a legend yet.
As far as Prince's "rating", I have to admit I miss the cursing sometimes, but still wouldn't put him lower than PG-13.
Ask where they're going, they'll tell U – "Nowhere"
They've taken a lifetime lease on Paisley Park ...music
