I love Prince Marathon - set the VCR

I just saw a commercial (during Purple Rain) on TV1 and they were promoting "I love Prince" marathon next saturday. I'm not sure what they will be showing because during the commercial of Purple Rain I stepped out of the room and then I heard music playing so I thought the movie came back on but the screen said "I Love Prince Marathon" all day on TV1 next Saturday.

I saw the commercial too. It looks like they're going to show all three of Prince's movies: "Graffiti Bridge", "Under the Cherry Moon", and "Purple Rain". I'll be watching, that's for sure. Think it starts at 8 pm Eastern Standard Time.

I don't have TV1 but I already have the three movies on DVD. A good idea for something to be in a Prince Marathon would be to play a lot of the music videos that have never been released on DVD or VHS.

In the early 1990s, BET (when it was still decent lol ) had a two hour show called "Video Vibrations" and every Monday they would feature music videos from one artist. When they had their Prince Monday Music Marathon, there were so many videos that they continued it on Tuesday. They played some rare ones like....

Sexuality
Automatic
America

As well as all the popular videos which have since been released on VHS and DVD over the years. And they played the long extended versions.

We don't have TV1 in L.A. Is it comparable to VH1? I'd love to DVR the marathon.
