One Night Alone setlist

What do you reckon the setlist will be?

He isn't going to bore me with a pile of Rainbow Children dribble, is he?

This is what I'd like to see:

My Name Is Prince
Anotherloverholenyohead
In This Bed I Scream
Circle Of Amour
I Would Die 4 U
Anna Stesia

The Truth
The Cross
I Love U But I Don't Trust U Anymore
Sometimes It Snows In April

The Holy River
She's Always In My Head
Kiss
The Greatest Romance Ever Sold

The Last December
When Doves Cry

Purple Rain

When I saw Prince in concert...It was FABULOUS. Even though he has changed BIG TIME, I was still mesmerised because above all THE MAN CAN STILL PLAY. And always will! nod

But yet and still, big grin I pray 4 the day of the old Prince 2 revive himself.

That is unlikely.

From your list, you may get a few...

Anna Stesia
I Love U But I Don't Trust U Anymore
Last December

I guess you could consider selling your tickets if the Rainbow Children influenced set list is not your style.

How much of the setlist has been TRC material in previous shows?

I think the set will reflect his ticket management style.

1. Lose to the Pharoah
2. 1+1+1 = 2 (dedecated to the ticket planners)
3. Family Pain
4. The Everlasting Row
5. (should have booked) Last December
6. When will we be paid
7. In a large room with no fams
8. Ticket Ticket Bang

Encore..

Had U

And what are the other 'likely' contenders?

Prince bores me sometimes.

1+1+1=3/Love Rollercoaster
Other side of the pillow
Strange Relationship
Lalala Means I love U
Didn't cha know
When U were mine
Avalanche
Family Name
Take me with You
Raspberry Beret
Everlasting Now (or the Santana Medley)
Piano Medley
Anna Stesia

From the npgmc emails and "utellus" write-ins, it sounded like the European tour would be almost all acoustic shows, on piano and guitar.
I can't imagine him playing 'My name is prince','kiss', or 'when doves cry' this way-but many of the others are possible.

Thats the first thing thats made me feel good all day. thanks squirelmeat.

But how about:

51 Hours (spent hitting refresh)
Call The Law (Trading Standards department please...)
Eye'll Never B Another Fool (And sign up to your music club again...)
Witness For The Prosecution (He promised concert tickets m'lud)

And the all time classic:

2 Whom it may concern (U can take your music club, and shove it...)

well, i really dug the concert (and much of trc) but yeah, he'll probably play a similar setlist to the US. c'mon, prince, surprise me!!! or better yet, MAIL OUR MERCHANDISE MOFO!!!

gambool and squirrelmeat, y'all are KILLIN' me with those songtitles!!! i FEEL your frustration squirrel...the club is a shamefully run disgrace. it's come to the point where it's no longer acceptable just to say "well he's a lousy businessman." the man's a millionaire and a legend. he KNOWS that his fans get ripped off and treated like fuckwads by his employees...(probably even by himself, a la satan claws?) - i tell you what AIN'T cool, prince...your club.

Just Shut up and don't buy a ticket if you think Prince will bore ya!

This is the one of his best shows since Lovesexy!
Its intimate and you can just chill and experience real music from a real artist!

He sold out most of the venues he played in USA, and now he's headed to europe and if you guys can't deal w/ his new image and music, just log on2 Kylie Monogue website and be happy...

Prince release the live set in US ONLY, since they can't be greatful for your presence as a live performer and taking chances of a new direction w/ your new and exciting and inspiring songs...everyone else can premiere a new style and song on a tour and award show and no one complains then, do they just expect you to still wear that purple trench coat and scream to darlin nikki for 2hours...?

SHUT UP ALREADY DAMN!

I wish I had the choice, but the fight NPGMC took that right away from me.

You will be very surprised at how much you will like TRC songs live. Very organic...very "live"...it will send you back to the studio disc for a more in depth investigation.

Saw the show in Houston, Texas and would pay double to have the same experience again.
