You should have been in the theater when that movie first came out. When he said that, the whole theater laughed well into the scene with Prince talking to his father. Finally, someone in the theater shouted "Y'all shut the fuck up, I can't hear the movie!".

I've actually been watching the 20th annv ed. DVD in background all night. Recently I watched disc 2 for the first time in awhile and noticed how First Avenue reminded me of the club in Vegas...great sight lines all around, roundish layout, etc. There's a piece on the DVD where you see it empty. Got me thinking how maybe him setting up in Vegas was kind of like going back to that. He used 1st Ave to try out new music back then, but maybe this gig is just a way to be closer to the fans/people again- see the reactions up close? He is doing a lot of venturing into the crowd, such intimate aftershows, etc.??
