Around 2002 or 2003 late at night on Thursdays, they would play old rock videos from the 1970s and early 1980s and sometimes the 1960s.....I mean some stuff you never see on TV like "Sympathy For The Devil" by The Rolling Stones, Judas Priest, Def Leppard, Kiss, Black Sabbath, AC/DC, etc. Every commercial break, they had an announcement...."If you like what you see, call your cable company and ask them to carry VH1 Classic". Shortly after that, they stopped playing the old videos and VH1 Classic came to my area but it was on a higher priced cable package that I can't afford.
